This study aims to explain the techniques and assessment of quality translation imperative sentences in book Al-Fatḥu Ar-Rabbānī Wal-Faiḍu Ar-Raḥmānī by Sheikh Abdul Qadir Al-Jaelani. research is a part criticism using descriptive analysis method. uses qualitative approach analyzing Newmark's theory. In addition, quantitative also used assessing evaluation theory Nababan. The results this indicate that there are 977 sentence data sample 50 data. study, it was found were 8 from 16 Newmark techniques. eight literal technique, paraphrasing transposition common expansion synonymy modulation reduction technique. three highest acceptability qualities technique as much 68%, while lowest 56%.
